COM brought home the 1997 GT Convertible in the fall of Gabe's senior year of high school and Gabe had to have one of his own. Elvira started life as a blue with grey gut and blue top LX vert with an automatic that some old lady owned. Within two months of ownership he added the roll cage, a 5-speed, 3.73 gears, 93 Cobra wheels and paintinged it pearl black. This car was Gabe's pride and joy through college and is currently in the midst of a restoration, which has been delayed by vandals.
Since she is black and has an unpainted white cowl hood to clear the new motor she has been dubbed Elvira. The new motor is a FMS Shortblock with the Holley Systemax heads and intake.
